An Induction Day for students who have joined the atEAST Program in 2018.
A key component of the VCAL studies is the ability to work in teams, manage your behaviour, have a good work-life balance and look after your mental health.
Our atEAST PD day looks at all these issues and how they can be managed.
This is a COMPULSORY day for the students.
Topics to be covered on the day, by guest presenters, include:
- Workplace bullying laws
- Work Life Balance
- Workplace safety
- What you need to be aware of as new workers
Students are expected to wear school uniform.
Please bring lunch, water, pen and paper. Morning tea will be provided. Students will have the opportunity to go to the local shops for lunch. Scoresby Village shops are directly across the road from the Conference Centre.
All students are expected to make their own way to the PD day to demonstrate their travel, problem solving and time management skills.
Buses that all students can access, stop within 200m of the centre.
